Mutation Breeding

It’s a conventional breeding method highly suitable to enhance the nutritional value of crops. We screen thousands of mutant plants of rice to discover plants capable of expressing high dietary fibre and protein contents.

Hybridisation

We utilise the classical hybridisation methods to stack a number of mutations in common high yielding varietal backgrounds so that all the enhanced nutritional parameters are expressed without yield penalty.

We use modern biochemical and genetic screening methods to select mutants from our hybridisation programmes to ensure only the strongest plants with the best nutritional traits, perfect for your health, are grown.
